The Zeidlerhaus “World of Bees” educational apiary on the Herzo Base in Herzogenaurach was inaugurated on German Beekeeping Day, July 5, 2015.
It displays a collection of old and new items from apiaries, and as a teaching apiary and a kind of museum, is intended to help strengthen interest in keeping and caring for bee colonies.
From the beginning of April to the end of September, it is open every Saturday from 9:30 am to about 12 noon, if possible, and by appointment for guests and beekeepers on trial.
